Sarah Oliver,

Certified Yoga Teacher, Registered with Canadian Yoga Alliance,

Certified Traditional Thai Massage, Relaxation, and Deep-tissue Bodyworker

     Sarah began her practice of yoga in 1998, in 2005 she was certified as a Yoga Teacher at "Moksana Yoga Center" in Victoria and began teaching soon after.  She has studied a variety of health and fitness modalities, integrating techniques of Pilates, Yoga therapy, and physical strength training into her practice and classes.

Sarah's deep appreciation for the ancient system of yoga philosophy is balanced with a respect for, and an understanding of anatomy and physiology. Sarah adapts postures so they make sense for the individual and creates sequences that focus on ease of movement within the joint's natural and optimum range of motion. It is important to her that she create a space that is both nourishing and safe when guiding a private session or leading a group class.

While Sarah's personal experience of yoga has enriched her life deeply, both physically and emotionally, it has also inspired her to share the skills she has acquired from her knowledgable teachers, and to assist others in finding their own balance.

    Sarah has her level two certification through Metta In Motion, shcool of Traditional Thai Massage, recognized by the Natural Health Practitioner's of Canada (NHPC).  She continues to study a variety of therepeutic massage techniques through accredited teachers and schools. Sarah's passion for massage is best felt through her warm, strong hands that intuitively move with care.
